Guoping Liu, Named a 2014 Thomson Reuters Highly Cited Researcher

In view of Professor Guoping Liu’s landmark contributions to research in the field of engineering, he has been named amongst Thomson Reuters Highly Cited Researchers, a list of the world’s leading scholars in the sciences and social sciences.

Thomson Reuters evaluate and recognize excellence in the scholarly community as demonstrated by the quantitative impact on the sciences, and consistently monitor the undeniable link between citations and influence. Professor Liu was selected as a Highly Cited Researcher due to the number of citations his work has received from his fellow researchers. Essentially, his peers have identified his contributions as being among the most valuable and significant in the field of engineering.

The global nature of this study highlights the researchers, institutions and countries on the cutting edge of science, those who are developing the innovations that will lead to a brighter tomorrow.
